Our Team
The firm was established by A.C. Loach, B.C.L.S. in 1953 and has gradually expanded to its present size - consisting of three professional land surveyors, and a staff of 17 people.HWM has recently purchased the assets of Chapman Land Surveying Ltd. We are now the proud owners of Chapman Land Surveying’s records, data and files. In addition, we are excited to have the staff from Chapman join our team.
PRINCIPALS
Dan Machon
BCLS
Dan Machon articled to Clare Hobbs, B.C.L.S. and received his commission as a Land Surveyor in 1995. He became a partner with the firm in 1996. Dan has lived on the North Shore for almost 40 years. When not surveying he enjoys running, going for long walks and travelling to warm places.
Adam Arduini
BCLS
Adam Arduini has been with the firm since 2005. He articled to Allan Winter, B.C.L.S, and received his commission as a Land Surveyor in 2012. He became a partner in 2013. Born and raised in North Vancouver Adam enjoys working in the area he calls home.
Alex Heath
BCLS, CLS
Alex Heath joined Hobbs, Winter & MacDonald June 2015 as an Associate. In January 2016 he became a partner. Previously, Alex articled to J. Neil Bennett, BCLS and was commissioned in 2012, and worked for Rankine Land Surveying until May of 2015. Alex was raised on the North Shore. He spends his free time mountain biking, motorbiking and enjoying the company of his wife and daughter.
